1ST MEETING OF THE NATIONAL WORKING GROUP FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE COLOMBIAN CLUSTER OF CIRCULAR BIOPLASTICS

On June 15, CPAP organized the 1st Meeting of the National Working Group to develop the Colombian Cluster of Circular Bioplastics. Over 30 delegates from Colombia’s academic, business, and government sectors participated in the activity.

The following activities were carried out at the meeting:

1. The summary of the Cluster Development process since the launch of the National Cluster Working Group in July 2022 at FIMA2022 was presented.

2. An open discussion was held among the attendees on the Consensus definition of “Circular Bioplastics.

3. They discussed the general Action Plan for the institutional development of the Cluster.

In September, the Colombian Cluster of Circular Bioplastics will meet again in the framework of EXPO Circular Caribe in Barranquilla.

This first meeting was held in the framework of FIMA 2023, where the CPAP team attended with the members of the Cluster and had discussions with people from the industry.
