Brazil - Circular Plastics

The CPAP Brazil Project aims to promote a comprehensive cooperation and support in policy development and seeks to showcase technologies and innovations from Europe to Brazil, by sharing knowledge and developing concrete solutions to promote the reduction of plastic waste in a sustainable way. The project’s approach aims to develop actual solutions that allow addressing challenges based on prevention, management and remediation.

The CPAP Brazil Project was born with a strong focus on innovation and pilot testing of transformative solutions to promote and support measures and practices related to circular plastic, with particular attention to the textile, agriculture, use of disposable plastics, PET and advanced equipment for mechanical recycling sectors.

The project promotes technology “showcase” from Europe to Brazil, contributing to the introduction and dissemination of innovative solutions according to a perspective of circularity and minimization and prevention of plastic pollution in the strategic sectors selected by the project and in the prevention area to marine and river pollution.

Institutions interested in information about the project’s activities or wishing to propose a Pilot Test to be financed or co-financed by the CPAP Project can contact our team.
